By booking, paying for or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
We provide professional bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, income tax, annual financial statement and related compliance services. We do not sell or ship physical goods. Every monthly or once-off engagement is governed by a signed engagement letter, which sets out the scope, fees, deliverables and responsibilities of both parties. If the engagement letter and these terms conflict, the engagement letter prevails.
All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). Monthly package prices are "from" prices, and your final fee depends on your volume of transactions. It is confirmed in writing before any work starts.
Once-off services (such as the R500 initial consultation) are paid upfront online. Monthly packages are invoiced monthly and payable by debit order or EFT on the last day of each month, as set out in the engagement letter.
Online payments are processed securely by PayFast. Remodel You does not see or store your card or banking details.
Remodel You is a strictly virtual practice, and all our services are delivered electronically. No physical goods are shipped, so there are no shipping or courier fees.
In-person meetings: clients in and around Rustenburg may request an in-person meeting at a location of their choice. In-person meetings are by appointment only, subject to availability, and charged a R350 call-out fee per meeting within Rustenburg (for travel and time), payable in addition to the service fee. Locations outside Rustenburg are quoted and agreed before the meeting.
Initial consultation: after payment is confirmed, you receive a booking confirmation and scheduling link by email or WhatsApp within 1 business day. The 45-minute consultation is held online (Google Meet, phone or WhatsApp video call) within 5 business days of payment, at a time you choose.
Monthly services: bookkeeping, payroll and reports are delivered by email, through our secure client portal or in your Xero file, according to the schedule in your engagement letter. Monthly reports are normally delivered by the 15th of the following month.
Tax and statutory returns: returns are submitted electronically to SARS (eFiling) or the relevant authority before the statutory deadline. Proof of submission is emailed to you.
Delivery times depend on us receiving complete and accurate documents from you. Where documents arrive late, we cannot guarantee delivery before statutory deadlines.
Consultations: you may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your booked time. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, and missed appointments, are not refundable. However, we will offer one reschedule at our discretion.
Monthly packages: either party may cancel by giving 30 days' written notice by email, unless the engagement letter states otherwise. Fees remain payable for the notice period and for all work completed up to the cancellation date. Your records and files will be handed over once all outstanding fees are settled.
Once-off services: you may cancel before work starts for a full refund. If you cancel after work has started, you pay only for the work completed.
Cooling-off period: in terms of section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002, you may cancel an online purchase within 7 days of payment without reason or penalty. This does not apply where the service has already been rendered with your consent within that period.
We may cancel or suspend services where fees remain unpaid, where required documents are not supplied, or where continuing would breach the law or our professional code of conduct.
You are entitled to a full refund if:
Refunds are not given for services already rendered, such as completed consultations, processed bookkeeping or submitted tax returns. Refunds are also not given for outcomes outside our control, such as SARS assessments, audits, penalties or interest arising from late or incomplete client information.
How to request a refund: email info@remodelyou.co.za with your name, payment date, amount and reason. Approved refunds are paid back to the original payment method (via PayFast) or by EFT within 7–10 business days.
If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us first so that we can put it right. We respond to all complaints within 2 business days.
Client information: our work relies on the accuracy and completeness of the information you supply. We do not audit or independently verify source documents unless specifically engaged to do so.
Limitation of liability: our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service concerned, except where the law provides otherwise.
Confidentiality & privacy: your information is treated as confidential and processed in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). See our Privacy Policy.
