1. Professional standing

Remodel You (Pty) Ltd is led by a Chartered Bookkeeper registered with the Chartered Institute for Business Accountants (CIBA) and a SARS-registered Tax Practitioner. Services are provided in accordance with the standards and ethical guidelines of these professional bodies.

2. Scope of services

The services described on this website (bookkeeping, tax preparation and submission, payroll, AFS compilation, CIPC compliance, and business advisory) are performed within the scope permitted by our professional designations. Statutory audits, independent reviews and Accounting Officer services are not performed by Remodel You and are referred to a suitably qualified professional where required.

3. Engagement

All services are subject to a signed engagement letter outlining scope, fees, deliverables, and responsibilities. No services are deemed engaged until such letter is signed by both parties.

4. Accuracy of records & client-supplied information

All financial records, books, tax submissions, and reports prepared by Remodel You are a true and accurate reflection of the documents, transactions, and information supplied by the client. We do not fabricate, alter, falsify, or misrepresent client information under any circumstances.

Our work relies on the accuracy and completeness of information supplied by clients. We do not audit or independently verify client-supplied source documents unless specifically engaged to do so. The integrity of underlying source data — invoices, receipts, bank statements, and supporting documents — remains the client's responsibility.

If we identify discrepancies, missing information, or material concerns during the course of an engagement, we will raise these with the client in writing and seek clarification before proceeding.

5. Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question, except where excluded by law. We carry professional indemnity insurance as required by our professional bodies.

6. Confidentiality

All client information is treated as strictly confidential and is not disclosed to third parties without consent, except where required by law or regulation (e.g., SARS audits, CIPC compliance, anti-money-laundering legislation).
